LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Britney Spears was meeting Friday with a judge overseeing her court conservatorship.

The pop singer arrived at a downtown Los Angeles courthouse for a closed hearing. It was Spears' first meeting with Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz since the singer concluded a world tour last year.

Britney Spears missed a Los Angeles court date for a conservatorship hearing on Friday due to a "misunderstanding."

The pop star's aides asked Commissioner Reva Goetz to postpone the case, fearing the pop star would be besieged by the paparazzi after word leaked about the time of her court date - and they thought the delay had been agreed.

But Goetz tells TMZ.com that that wasn't the case and now Spears must show up in court on January 22.

NEW YORK (Billboard) – Pop singer Ke$ha led Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart for a fourth week on Thursday with her debut single "TiK ToK," and also grabbed the No. 7 spot with her new follow-up, "Blah Blah Blah."

Both tracks come from her album "Animal," which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart on Wednesday. Two other tunes, "Your Love Is My Drug" and "Take It Off," debuted at No. 27 and No. 85, respectively.

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Court records show Britney Spears and a photographer whose foot she ran over have settled a lawsuit.

Ricardo Mendoza sued the pop singer in May, accusing her of assault, battery and negligently driving her car when she ran over his foot in Beverly Hills in October 2007.
