During all the NBC internet chatter this week, I couldn't wait for new episodes of scripted comedy. The Thursday lineup was loaded with guest stars, none bigger than Jack Black's appearance on Community, which says one if not two things: the show is underperforming ratings-wise, and A-list actors want to be a part of a comedy they enjoy watching.

The question is not how the Kung Fu Panda would interact with the tight ensemble cast, but how the show's producers would buck the tired more...

David Arquette leaped at the opportunity to star in a fourth Scream movie - because it gives him the chance to work alongside his wife Courteney Cox. Pop superstar Mariah Carey made husband Nick Cannon wait for two months before they first had sex - because she wanted to wait until she was a married woman.

The Hero hit-maker wed rapper/actor Cannon in the Bahamas in April after a whirlwind romance. But Carey, who was previously married to Sony Records boss Tommy Mottola, insisted they refrained from complete intimacy until they had exchanged vows.
