Jay-Z, Beyonc? to compete at 2010 BET awards

NEW YORK (AP) -- Rapper Jay-Z and his wife, Beyonc?, will compete in three categories at the 2010 BET Awards.
They're both nominated for video of the year, best collaboration and viewers' choice. Jay-Z received two nominations in the video of the year category, which includes newcomers B.o.B and Melanie Fiona.

Golden Globes Fashion 2010 - The Ladies

Many of the ladies sizzled on the red carpet at last night's Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, Calif. Purple was a major pick of the evening, as Sandra Bullock, Fergie, Heidi Klum and Jane Krakowski demonstrated.

Wilco extends 2010 tour plans

LOS ANGELES (Billboard) – Wilco, the celebrated Chicago-based roots-rock band whose latest album is nominated for a Grammy award, announced Monday a 16-date East Coast tour kicking off March 22.

Soundgarden To Return In 2010

Rocker Chris Cornell has confirmed Soundgarden will return in 2010 for the first time in 12 years. The band split in 1997, but former frontman Cornell recently gave hope to fans by admitting he would "never count out" the idea of a reunion.
Now the singer has confirmed the rockers, including guitarist Kim Thayil, bassist Ben Shepherd and drummer Matt Cameron, are back together and planning a series of concerts.

Simon Cowell To Leave ‘American Idol’ In 2010?

Simon Cowell will leave American Idol in 2010, according to his brother. The music mogul has become a TV sensation since taking his seat on the judging panel in 2002, and he's since become the richest man on TV in the States, earning a massive $75 million in the last year.
As well as his panelist duties on the hit series, he also leads the judges on British talent show "The X Factor," which he is in negotiations to bring stateside in 2011.

Hit comedy 30 Rock is leading the charge for the primetime TV categories at the 2010 Screen Actor's Guild Awards with three top nominations.

K'naan's song "Wavin' Flag" has been named as the official anthem for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
A remixed version of the track called "Wavin' Flag: The Celebration Mix" will soundtrack the campaign, which kicks off in South Africa on June 11 next year, reports Cbc.ca.
