SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) -- Authorities in north Louisiana say two people in a pickup truck were killed when the truck ran head-on into a tour bus carrying members of country singer Trace Adkins' band.
Cindy Chadwick of the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office says five band members were treated for minor injuries in the Saturday morning accident.

DURANGO, Colo. (AP) -- Fiddler-guitarist Charlie Daniels is recovering after suffering a mild stroke while snowmobiling in Colorado, his spokeswoman said Wednesday.
Daniels, 73, suffered the stroke Friday and was treated at a hospital in Durango, 230 miles southwest of Denver, spokeswoman Paula Szeigis said. He then was airlifted to a Denver hospital and released on Sunday.

more...NEW YORK (AP) -- Eric Clapton has pulled out of this week's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame concert in New York after undergoing gallstone surgery.
Kristen Foster, a publicist for the guitarist, said Tuesday that Clapton was doing well and recuperating with his family in England.
The hall says Jeff Beck will replace the 64-year-old guitarist for Friday night's show at Madison Square Garden.
