Brittany Murphy's husband Simon Monjack was taken to the hospital on Saturday after falling ill on a flight to Los Angeles.

The couple flew into the city's LAX airport from Puerto Rico and the British screenwriter was taken straight to a medical center upon landing after doctors found him incoherent, according to TMZ.com.
