LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Organizers for last week's "Hope for Haiti Now" telethon, backed by George Clooney and Haiti-born rapper Wyclef Jean, on Monday raised the estimated amount of money it raised to more than $61 million, to date.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — "Avatar" dominates the box office again with a $36 million weekend.
No. 1 for the sixth-straight weekend, James Cameron's sci-fi spectacle lifted its domestic total to $552.8 million, according to studio estimates Sunday. Worldwide, 20th Century Fox's "Avatar" raised its total to $1.840 billion, just $2 million shy of first place behind Cameron's last movie, the 1997 shipwreck blockbuster "Titanic," at $1.843 billion.

NEW YORK (AP) — The company behind Sean "Diddy" Combs' clothing line says it has a looming problem at its flagship New York City store — a scaffold that has been hanging over the shop for more than three years.
The company behind the rap impresario's Sean John label sued its Manhattan landlord on Wednesday.
The company, Christian Casey LLC, says the scaffold obscures the Fifth Avenue store's window displays, discouraging shoppers and cutting revenue in half.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Jon Gosselin has filed a counter lawsuit against the TLC network, claiming television producers violated Pennsylvania's child labor laws in filming the hit reality show "Jon & Kate Plus 8" and are preventing him from working.
The suit seeks more than $5 million in damages. It was filed Thursday in Maryland in response to a network lawsuit alleging Gosselin failed to meet his obligations as an employee.

Eddie Murphy is suffering in the global economic downturn - he's been forced to slash the asking price for his home by $15 million.
