Tennis superstar Serena Williams is desperate to start a family with her rapper/actor boyfriend Common - but fears she is too forgetful to be a responsible mother.

The sporting ace began dating Common last year and confesses she’s starting to feel broody.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Prince has recorded a purple-tinted tribute to the Minnesota Vikings.

The “Purple Rain” superstar told Fox affiliate KMSP-TV that he penned “Purple and Gold” after he saw the Vikings beat Dallas at the Metrodome last weekend. Prince told the station he hadn’t seen the team play in years until this season.

The Vikings play the Saints in New Orleans on Sunday in the NFC championship game.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Groups that vet charities are raising doubts about the organization backed by Haitian-born rapper Wyclef Jean, questioning its accounting practices and ability to function in earthquake-hit Haiti.

Even as more than $2 million poured into The Wyclef Jean Foundation Inc. via text message after just two days, experts questioned how much of the money would help those in need.

Actor/comedian Ricky Gervais promises to keep his Golden Globes monologue tasteful but won’t be afraid of a little “gentle ribbing” at the expense of other major names.

“Any one who’s younger and thinner and richer and more attractive than me; that’s the ones I’m going for,” he told reporters during a conference call interview Tuesday.

In what’s billed as an in-depth interview, the singer will discuss his assault of ex-girlfriend and recording superstar Rihanna in February. He is on probation for the beating.
