Anne Hathaway turned down the title role in Tim Burton’s new Alice In Wonderland movie - because she was fed up with playing a “pretty girl in a fairy dress.” The actress was asked to star as Alice in the upcoming fantasy film but opted instead to play the White Queen - because she had previously played a pretty protagonist in The Princess Diaries movies which launched her career. SYDNEY — Australian band Men at Work copied a well-known children’s campfire song for the flute melody in its 1980s hit “Down Under” and owes the owner years of royalties, a court ruled Thursday.

“Kookaburra Sits in the Old Gum Tree” was written more than 70 years ago by Australian teacher Marion Sinclair for a Girl Guides competition, and the song has been a favorite around campfires

Jimmy Page is insisting the future of Led Zeppelin depends on his former band-mate Robert Plant - because they can’t continue the group without the lead singer.

The legendary rockers sparked rumors of a reunion tour after Plant, Page and John Paul Jones reteamed for a benefit concert in London in December, 2007, but the singer has since rejected all offers to hit the road with his old pals.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Two Web sites that sold songs by The Beatles for 25 cents apiece should remain shut down indefinitely, a federal judge ruled Wednesday.

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly reeling after turning down a starring role in hit comedy The Hangover - because she believed the script had “no potential”.

AIDA REFUGEE CAMP, West Bank (AP) - The legendary rocker and co-founder of Pink Floyd says he would give a concert in a flash if Israel’s West Bank wall is torn down.

Roger Waters made the promise Tuesday during a visit to a Palestinian refugee camp that is hemmed in by the separation barrier’s tall slabs of cement.

Rapper T.I. will report to prison on Tuesday to begin his year-long sentence as scheduled - his request to have the date pushed back has been denied. The “Live Your Life” hitmaker is due to turn himself in to authorities by noon on May 26 to begin a 366-day jail term, which he was handed in March following his 2007 arrest for illegal weapons possession.
