Michael Jackson's 'Captain EO' returns to Disney

ANAHEIM, California (AP) — “Captain EO” and Michael Jackson are returning to Disneyland.

The park says it will show the 1986 Jackson musical film beginning Tuesday and running indefinitely.

On the Disney Parks blog, Disney executive Heather Hust Rivera says the park will show a 70mm print of the 17-minute movie in the Tomorrowland theater, with enhanced sound.

Michael Jackson’s doctor pleads not guilty

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Michael Jackson’s doctor has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the death of the pop star.

Dr. Conrad Murray, a Houston cardiologist who was with Jackson when he died June 25, entered his plea Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court just hours after he was charged.

He could face up to four years in prison if convicted.

According the Associated Press, the company World Awards Media released a statement issued by its majority owner Superfund saying that the decision to dissolve the company was made back in November.

Michael Jackson estate administrators seek payment (AP)

LOS ANGELES – The administrators of Michael Jackson’s estate and a cadre of attorneys are seeking millions for managing the King of Pop’s affairs after death, court documents filed Tuesday show.

It’s unclear how much exactly will be paid out.

The administrators of Jackson’s estate, attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain, are seeking five percent of money the estate has earned so far.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Singer Michael Jackson next month will receive a posthumous Grammy for lifetime achievement, along with six other artists, organizers of the music industry's top awards said.

The others honored with the annual award are Canadian singer Leonard Cohen, blues musician David “Honeyboy” Edwards, country starLoretta Lynn, pianist Andre Previn, fluegelhorn player Clark Terry and the late singer Bobby Darin.
