Newly-Released T.I. Gets Back To Work

Newly-Released T.I. Gets Back To WorkRapper T.I. is wasting no time following his release from prison last week - he headed straight into the recording studio to lay down some new songs.

The “Live Your Life” hitmaker, real name Clifford Harris, Jr., was transferred from an incarceration facility in Arkansas to a halfway house near his home in Atlanta, Georgia last Tuesday, after serving time for weapons possession.

French rocker Hallyday released from hospital (Reuters)

PARIS (Reuters) – Veteran French rocker Johnny Hallyday has been released from a Los Angeles hospital where he underwent a back operation earlier this month, his publicists said on Wednesday.

“The doctors judged that Johnny Hallyday's current state of health has improved and justifies a return home to his family while he continues to receive the medical treatment he needs,” they said in a statement.

Atlanta rapper T.I. released from Arkansas prison (AP)

ATLANTA – Atlanta rapper T.I. has been released from a federal prison in Arkansas and is headed to a halfway house in Georgia.

A lawyer for T.I. said the rapper was released Tuesday morning.

T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., last May began serving his sentence of a year and a day for illegal firearms possession and possessing a gun as a convicted felon.

LONDON (AP) — Former Smiths frontman Morrissey was released Sunday from a hospital where he was held overnight after collapsing on stage during a concert.

Boy George released from jail after serving four months (Yahoo! Music)

Culture Club singer Boy George has been released from jail after serving four months of an 18-month sentence for false imprisonment.

The frontman, real name George O'Dowd, was given the sentence in January after being found guilty of detaining male escort Audun Carlsen in his London flat.
